This weeks question:
Happy Father's Day! Who is your favorite Dad character in a book and why?
I had to think really hard on this but then BAM!! it came to me Rupert Giles He served as Buffy Summers' Mentor/Watcher and most importantly her surrogate Father figure on the hit tv show Buffy The Vampire Slayer along with the jump into the books and comics of the same name , Though as a teenager and young adult he rebelled, he grew up to be an amazing man ... which in the end helped him take the time to understand Buffy and what she needed in a father role since her's was never around and to me that made him an amazing role model .

ReplyDeleteLet me start out by declaring my love for you.... (BIG Buffy fan) Ha ha. I never even thought of Giles, but yes, ABSOLUTELY. He's been a strong & kickass fatherly figure to just about all the scoobies.

lol I was like OMG!!! he was someone you so least expect to become such a great father figure! I would have love if Joyce (Buffy's Mom) didn't die and Giles got together and married

LOL!! the movie doesn't even come close to how amazing the show was don't get me wrong it was a hoot but the cheezie kind, but its ok the show made up for it you so need to check it out!!!
