My
Review:
OMG!!! Brenna Yovanoff
where have you been hiding?? And why haven’t I picked up any of your books sooner, Brenna’s book The Space Between enveloped me so fast , that when I
finished it I was so
sad to see it end It turned out
to be a standalone book that proved to
be so much more. Lately I felt as if I have been reading nothing but
trilogy's/series that were never ending don’t get me wrong I do love them but
sometimes you just need a good standalone and I was finding it hard to find one
till The Space Between, But when you
get to adore the main characters as much as I did, saying good-bye to Daphne
& Truman turned out to be a little difficult sniff sniff.
The Space Between is an amazing and intriguing story that spans
from Heaven to Hell and in between hence the name The Space Between. It contain names of demons and angles that you may
have or haven’t ever read about before but don’t let it fool you it’s a really
different read. It grips and reaches down into the darkest depths of Hell, and
the not so happy corners of Earth.
Daphne is very quiet keeps
to herself daughter of a demon and a fallen angel. She lives in pits Hell, in a
city called Pandemonium she has siblings who are the darkest of the dark who work
feed and collect lost souls on earth and Daphne just doesn’t understand how
they can do this with no remorse but then again this is Hell we’re talking
about.
But one day big changes
happen when her brother Obie goes missing he’s the only person to ever have understand
Daphne, Obie has been the best thing about Hell itself for her, he’s the only
one who’s truly cared about his sister and Daphne feels the same. They have
this bond that is unbreakable and she’s is the only one who cares enough to go
to Earth to look for him when he goes missing and is presumed dead! She leaves
the protection of her city and home, unaware of what to expect on Earth, She is
not only searching for Obie but also a boy named Truman who was the last human ever
to see her brother alive. But Truman turns out to have lots of his own secrets.
His own serious unpleasant issues that turn out to be deep dark dysfunction
that she just can’t put her finger on, the storyline is dark and gridy it was
just that good.
My Final
Thoughts:
I so loved and I mean loveedddd! The Space Between it was on my TBR list forever I fell in love with
its cover the first time I saw. It was a challenge to get it into my hands a
big one at that but when I did I didn’t put it down.
You need to pick this novel up ASAP!!! I promise you will love
every page …
